Bhojaraju Gunjal lives in
Bangalore, India and serves as the Knowledge Management Consultant at one of the
world’s leading information technology companies. He has over ten years of
professional experience in Knowledge Management (KM), Enterprise Content
Management (ECM) projects using various tools such as SharePoint, InQuira,
Documentum in IT Sector. Has strong understanding of business processes,
integration strategies and techno-functional expertise in different industrial
areas.
Prior to
this, he served as
Knowledge Management-Lead in Cognizant Technology Solutions
(Bangalore).
He was
Lead-Knowledge Management in GCI Solutions (Bangalore). He was
Librarian-Knowledge Management (Technology) in ICICI OneSource
(Bangalore) - one of the largest BPO players in India. Also he was the
Library-cum-Information Officer for IRMRA (Indian Rubber Manufacturers
Research Association) (Thane), - a premier organization in rubber
research in India. He served as Librarian in Fr.Agnel Technical
Education Complex (Polytechnic, Engineering & MBA) (Vashi, Mumbai),
Librarian & Documentation Officer in ICSI-CCRT (Belapur, Navi-Mumbai),
Library-Intern in British Council Library (Mumbai).
He
is pursuing Ph.D in Library & Information Science on the topic
“Knowledge Organisation Systems in Digital Libraries: A Case of ETDs”
from
University of Mysore, Mysore. His academic background is MLIS
(Master of Library & Information Science) from
Karnatak University, Dharwar securing high First Class and Gold
Medal. Recipient of National Merit Scholarship for twice. Completed
PGDLAN (Post Graduate Diploma in Library Automation and Networking) from
University of Hyderabad, Hyderabad.
Also qualified Maharashtra State Eligibility Test (M-SET) for
lectureship.
He
has
Published & presented technical papers in the field of
Knowledge Management,
Library & Information Science
in
both
national and international conferences/journals and also
attended various professional training programs.
